The materials in FOIA 2014-0158-F are a selective, not necessarily all inclusive, body of documents responsive to the topic of the FOIA. Researchers should consult the archivist about related materials.

FOIA 2014-0158-F contains communications, schedules, notes and other records for George W. Bush, Laura Bush, Joshua Bolten, Andrew Card, Ari Fleischer, Karl Rove, Karen Hughes, Joe Hagin, and Condoleezza Rice from September 11, 2001.

Textual records include draft and final schedules, calendars, press releases, fact sheets, pool reports, remarks, handwritten notes, briefings, talking points, draft and final speeches, speech cards, and Q&As. There are many briefing papers which consist of schedules and related briefings, speeches, and talking points for events in late August and early September 2001. The majority of schedules for September 11, 2001 reflect the originally scheduled events that were eventually overcome by the emergency response to the terrorist attacks. There is a notebook containing handwritten notes detailing President Bush's movements and meetings from the beginning of the emergency response through mid-September.

Electronic records include press briefings, approved scheduling memoranda, narrative schedules for Vice President Cheney, and Los Angeles Times news updates. There is an email regarding the speech given by President Bush following the events of September 11, 2001. There is also an unsolicited email suggesting that the American flag be raised from halfstaff to show strength.
