Thank you for your interest in visiting the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum. As the 13th Presidential Library administered by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), a Federal agency and the Nation's official record keeper, the Museum highlights critical events and issues from the Administration of President George W. Bush. The Museum is the repository for domestic and foreign Presidential gifts as well as other donated artifacts relating to the life and career of President George W. Bush and Mrs. Laura Bush.

- Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day.
You may purchase admissions tickets to the Museum before making a visit.
Beginning July 14th, the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum will be adding an additional $1 charge to all tickets purchased for July 19, 2014 to October 5, 2014. This $1 additional charge is to support our programming during the Oscar de la Renta special exhibit. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Directions and Parking
Parking is available, on a first-come, first-served basis, in the Library and Museum's public lot. Visitors will be charged $7 per vehicle, and payment may be made by credit or debit card upon exit from the lot or at the admissions desk. Please consider mass transit. When you arrive at the Library and Museum, please enter at the main entrance and go to the admissions desk. A clerk will help you get started with your visit.
Museum Visitor Information
Our goal is to do everything possible to ensure all of our visitors enjoy their Museum experience. Please note the following information to make your visit safe and enjoyable.
- Chaperones must remain with younger visitors at all times while in the exhibit galleries, classroom, museum café, museum store, and Center grounds.
- Food and beverages are prohibited in the Museum (this includes candy, gum, and water bottles).
- No weapons of any kind are allowed in the Museum (this includes pocket knives of any size).
- Visitors are asked to use care with exhibits and not use them in a manner for which they were not intended.
- Visitors may take as many pictures as they would like, however, the flash must be turned off. There may be restrictions on photography in our temporary exhibits, please check with Museum staff for details.
If at any point during your visit, you have questions or need assistance, please see a Museum docent in the galleries. You will be able to identify them by their navy blazers and gray slacks.
The Library and Museum is a Federal agency and weapons are not allowed in the building. All visitors entering the Library and Museum must pass through a security check with a metal detector. All bags will be x-rayed and possibly searched by security staff. Any weapons will be confiscated by security staff and not returned. This includes ALL guns, ALL knives, to include locking and non-locking blades, pocket knives of any length, ©Swiss Army Knives, Gerber® Knives and Leatherman® or any other multipurpose tools, stun-guns, and any other items considered as less-than lethal weapons.
