Volunteering 

Are you interested in volunteering? The George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum offers a variety of service opportunities.  Please check the Volunteer Information Center to learn more about specific volunteer positions.

Requirements:

Due to the sensitive nature of Presidential materials, all volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and a U.S. Citizen - or holder of a permanent resident card or A1 Diplomatic Visa. All volunteers must successfully pass a background check and sign a confidentiality agreement. Other requirements are as follows:

• Must be able to make a one-year commitment;
• Able to work up to 4.5 hours per week on a non-paid basis unless serving as a volunteer or docent substitute;
• Ability to learn new skills;
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite programs is a plus;
• For some duties, must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; and 
• For some duties, must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to climb ladders.
