Welcome from the education program of the George W. Bush Presidential Library! It is part of the Library’s mission to encourage students of all ages to learn more about the Presidency, the First Lady, American history, and government as well as to serve as a resource for the study of the life and career of President George W. Bush. The education program is developing engaging, hands-on classroom resources; programming for professional development; and much more, all for teachers, parents, and visitors.

You teach a child how to read and write, but you also teach a child how to think and hope.

Our Traveling Trunks can supplement textbooks in new and exciting ways to interest students. While each trunk focuses on using primary sources in the classroom, they may be used outside of the social studies classroom and in cross-curricular instruction.
