See the handcrafted leather cowboy boots made by Texas bootmaker Rocky Carroll, the baseball bat signed by 46 members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, and the beautiful Oscar de la Renta dress that First Lady Laura Bush wore in honor of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain.

See some of the records archivists have found - President George W. Bush’s handwritten remarks to the press on the morning of September 11, 2001; letters from U2 singer Bono regarding the President’s humanitarian work; sketches by clothing designer Oscar de la Renta for the gown First Lady Laura Bush wore at the State Dinner in honor of Queen Elizabeth II; the letter from United States Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor announcing her retirement; and maps that depict damage caused by Hurricane Katrina used by the President (note the red “The President Has Seen” stamp at the top of the document).
